Heads Up!

This little racial casting issue is gathering some lovely looking steam indeed.

At 6pm, Australia Talks will present a panel discussion on Radio National featuring the now blogospherically famous Lee Lewis, the ABC's Julie Rigg and the director of Lucky Miles Michael James Rowland who will come along with two of his cast from the film.

And then, there will be two forums held by Currency House in Sydney and Melbourne. Apologies to the rest of Australia - but rest assured that the blog fraternity of Alison, Ming-Zhu and I will fill that media gap and report back to you on what was said.

But for those of you intending to go, I beg and plead with you to please read the essay beforehand. There is nothing worse than a forum where you spend the entire time negotiating the terms of reference and battling against those who wander in there ill-informed. It gets so boring.

And a quick reminder about the forum on Tuesday at the Sydney Town Hall where locals get to talk with Lord Mayor Clover Moore, Adam Spencer, Fergus Linehan, Elizabeth Ann Macgregor & Neil Armfield about how wonderful our city is as the 'cultural capital of Australia'.
