Last night I received a very upsetting phone call from a colleague who informed me that Emma Collison, a very well known arts publicist in Sydney, had a terrible accident on the weekend.
Roller-blading in Centennial Park on Saturday with her son and a friend, she took a terrible fall and injured her head. She is now in a critical but stable condition at St Vincent's Public Hospital.
Her husband Brendan Read said she had two operations on Sunday and that she is now stabilised in a medically-induced coma.
It is a very troubling time for her family and her colleagues, and I wish Emma a speedy, speedy recovery.
Emma has been a publicist in Sydney for nearly 15 years and is just such a funny and delightful person. My thoughts are with you all.
